Review messages
Review messages puts the messages already in a pool in front of the same three critics that score the Composer's drafts: the Minto editor (anchor, one idea, arc), the Toulmin auditor (grounds, warrant, reason) and the Reader (ask, reads human, useful anyway). Nothing is drafted and no message changes.
Running a review
Open the pool and press AI Assist, then Review messages. Tick the messages to review, up to 10. Rows you ticked on the page come in ticked. With nothing ticked, the messages never reviewed, or changed since their last review, are ticked for you.
Add a line on what the messages should do if the pool has no plan; otherwise the plan's brief and the pool's description are used.
What it reads
Each message is read the way it would send: its own fields, the blocks and close sets of the campaign row, the brand and the client's defaults. When the pool is on a campaign, the review says which one it read it on. Nothing is written: no rotation moves and no contact is touched.
The messages either side of each one you ticked are read too, so the critics can judge whether a message moves the reader one step past the one before it. They are never scored and never shown.
What comes back
For each message: the critic score out of 9, each failing line with the critic's note and, for a named fallacy, the words it points at; the tells counted in code; and how specific the message is. The critic score is three separate readers on nine lines. It is not calibrated against people yet.
Rewrite to fix
On a message that fails a line, Rewrite to fix drafts a new version from the findings. Fields the message holds itself can be edited and saved with Save to message. Text that comes from a block, a client default or a rotating value is shown but not saved: change it where it lives. Nothing is saved until you press Save.
The stamp
Each reviewed message shows its last score on the pool page. It reads Changed since review once the message or any of its fields is edited. A change inside a block the message uses is not detected; review again after editing a block.
Before launch
The campaign's go-live check lists the messages that can send and were never reviewed, changed since, or fail a line. It is a warning only; it never stops the campaign.
Copy not yet in mxAURA
Through the API (POST /v1/advisor/review with raw) or the Claude connector (review_messages), subject, preview and body can be reviewed before they are added. Nothing is stamped.
