Guardrails: words and phrases

Identity > Guardrails holds two lists for this identity. Every AI article draft, social post, lead answer, FAQ, SEO suggestion, email row and advisor message follows them.

Words

Words the AI does not use. Press Edit, type a word, then a comma or Enter: it becomes a pill. Click the x on a pill to remove it. Paste a comma separated list to add many at once: guarantee, loophole, navigate the market. A short term of a few words counts as one entry.

After the AI writes, the text is checked. If a word got through, the AI rewrites it once. If the word is still there, the result is marked for review.

Phrases

Instructions the AI follows. Press Edit and type one per bullet. Press Enter for the next bullet (a phrase can have commas of its own, so each bullet is one phrase):

Do not use defer as a strategy type. Defer is fine as the word for the result.

When a phrase and a word disagree

The phrase wins. If a phrase names a word from the Words list, the AI follows the phrase for that word, and the word is no longer checked on its own.

AI Assist

AI Assist suggests words from this identity's positioning and the brief's never-say list. Untick what you do not want; the rest are added to Words. It can also find the words in this identity's own messaging.

Check and Fix

Check reads this identity's own sections (constituents, buckets, pillars, proposition, ladder, persona, vision, mission) and lists any that conflict with the guardrails, under Identified Conflicts.

Fix hands those to AI Assist. It changes only the sentence that holds the conflict and leaves the rest as written. You see each one before and after, untick any you do not want, and Apply writes the rest into the identity and saves it. Nothing changes until you press Apply.

Saving is the approval: every change takes effect at once, and each AI result records which version of the lists it followed.

Guardrails is the last step of an identity and has its own box on the Overview. It is optional: an identity can have none.

Import and export

Export writes this identity as JSON (all of it, or the parts you tick, guardrails included). Import brings parts of a file into this identity; unticked parts stay as they are. On the Identity list, Import creates a new identity from the parts you tick.
