Connecting HubSpot
mxAURA needs a connection to the HubSpot portal that will send the email. Settings → Connected platforms → Connect HubSpot opens HubSpot's authorization screen; approve it with a HubSpot user who is a super admin on that portal (HubSpot requires that for the permissions mxAURA asks for).
What the connection is used for
Writing message content into contact properties before a send, reading templates and owners, and receiving the workflow action. mxAURA never sends email itself.
"Needs reconnecting"
HubSpot revokes access when the authorizing user is removed from the portal or after long inactivity. Sends are blocked (not lost) until you reconnect: the campaign shows the reason and the bell notifies you. Reconnect from the same Settings page; nothing else needs to change.
Starter vs Professional
Starter portals have no standalone workflows, so mxAURA uses a form-submission pattern there; Professional and above use the workflow action directly. mxAURA detects the tier; you do not choose.
