The Gallery tab: articles, order and design
The Gallery tab is the hub itself. Every site shows this list; widgets draw from it. It has three views.
Articles
The articles placed in the hub, with each one's state (live, scheduled, draft), whether it is featured or pinned, and its views. Add articles from the library, and publish or schedule them here. Publishing state is managed per hub, so an article can be live in News and a draft in Insights.
Order is a hub setting in the toolbar: Newest first, Oldest first, Recently updated, or Manual. In Manual, drag rows to set the order; pinned articles still lead. The live gallery and the preview follow whatever you choose.
Featured
Tick Featured on a row to show that article in the hub's featured section. Where the section sits is set under Design, Settings, in the Cards card (Featured section):
- Beside the title: one at a time, next to the page heading.
- Full width: one feature across the whole page, above the cards. Several rotate.
- Row: features side by side above the cards. Up to the number of cards per row they share the width, so two features in a three-column gallery each take half and three take a third. More than that and the row becomes a carousel. With more than one feature the section has an outline. Every card in the row is laid out the same: the title takes up to two lines, the subtitle two, and the link sits on the same line across the cards.
Max featured caps how many show; 0 hides the section.
Pinned
Tick Pinned to put an article first in the card list, whatever the Order is. The order applies to everything after the pins. Pinning and featuring are separate: an article can be either, both or neither.
Arrange
Arrange opens two lists, Featured and Pinned. Drag each into the order you want and Save.
Pausing an article everywhere is done on the article itself, not here. A Paused article stays in this list marked Paused; one marked Draft has not been set Live yet. Neither shows on any site.
Redirects
The Redirects tab lists the addresses of deleted articles that were live in this hub. Each sends readers and search engines to the hub's home page (301), and counts the hits. Remove one to make its address an ordinary not-found page. A live article that takes the same slug always wins over a redirect.
Design
Two tabs, Gallery layout and Article layout. Each has three entries on the left; the one you pick opens on the right.
- Layouts: the built-in layouts. Applying one makes it the default; your own copies are never overwritten.
- Settings: every setting for that page on one panel. For the gallery: Page (title and intro), Cards (grid, card text, featured), Banner, Search, Fonts and colors. For the article page: Article page (more articles, the AI note), Fonts and colors.
- Edit: the template, the CSS and the field keys together, for changing the layout itself. Click a key to insert it into the template. Saving checks the layout and refuses one that would break the page. Reset puts the built-in version back. To see the result, use Preview at the top of the hub. See Layouts, keys and the validator.
Fonts and colors are one set for the whole hub. They show under both tabs and a change in either applies to the gallery, the article pages and every widget. A site can override the brand on the Sites tab.
New starts a layout of the kind you are on. With more than one, a dropdown at the top of Edit chooses which one you are editing. A site can be pinned to any layout on the Sites tab; without a pin it gets the default.
Clone copies another hub's layouts and style into this one. The copies arrive as new, non-default layouts, so nothing live changes until you pick one.
Embed
One snippet per site and the one choice that changes it. See Embedding on a site.
