Glossary
Every word mxAURA uses, in one place.
- Aura Marketing™ — the approach mxAURA is built on: one identity everywhere, sequence not blasts, compose once and reach many.
- Component — a reusable piece: header, summary, signature, sender, template.
- Message — a composition of one component of each kind: one email's content.
- Pool — an ordered list of messages. Nurture (limited or recurring), alert (preempts), scheduled (a window).
- Position — where a contact is in a pool. Everyone starts at 1.
- Campaign — what a HubSpot workflow calls. Holds pools, sender, branding, and the Enabled switch.
- Cascade — the rule that picks a contact's single next message across a campaign's pools.
- Variant — a message with several headers or summaries; rotated per contact.
- Flow — a contact's journey across campaigns. Enrolling starts real sends.
- Blueprint — a flow definition an agency assigns to clients.
- Dispatch — one request from a HubSpot workflow for a contact's next message, and its outcome.
- Blocked — a dispatch that could not send: no sender, no branding, reauth required, campaign disabled.
- Filtered — a dispatch where a pool's filter excluded the contact this time.
- Sender — from name, from address, reply-to.
- Branding — logo, colours, fonts. The default is what applies when nothing more specific is chosen.
- Template — the HubSpot email template content renders into.
- Hub — a library of articles embedded on a website.
- Article — written once, placed in hubs. Draft → published → retired.
- Placement — an article in a specific hub, with its own status.
- Subscription — permission for a site to embed a hub; carries an embed key.
- Site key — one key for a client site, valid for every hub assigned to it.
- Preview mode — a timed window during which the live embed shows drafts, noindex.
- Agency / client — the account that composes / the company account that sends from its own portal.
- Distribute — assign an agency's campaign, template, workflow or hub to a client, resolved to the client's own defaults at send time.
- Readiness — a client with HubSpot connected, a default sender and a default branding.
- Identity — audience, value proposition, persona, voice: the frameworks everything composes from.
- Advisor — suggestions drawn from the identity and the account's state.
- Scope — what an API key or assistant may read or change, per family.
- Webhook — a URL mxAURA calls when an event happens; signed.
- MCP — the protocol AI assistants use to connect; mxAURA's server is
mcp.mxaura.ai.
