The go-live check
Go-live check, in the pools toolbar of a campaign, runs everything that would stop or spoil a send, with the same code a send uses. Nothing is sent, no contact is written, no rotation moves. Run it before you switch a campaign on, and again after any fix.
What it checks
- Campaign: on or off, and whether the Monitor has stopped it.
- Rows and senders: every row's pool is inside its window and has Ready messages; each row's sender exists, or the account has a default.
- Content the plan links (campaigns built by the Architect): the pieces the plan queued and the messages that wait on them, until each is published. A warning, never a stop.
- Messages: every Ready message resolves: template ready, tracking block present, required fields filled, every block section filled. A message that would not send says why.
- Message review: the messages that can send and were never reviewed against the critics, changed since their review, or fail a line. A warning only. See Review messages.
- Filters: every property a row or variant filters on exists in the portal. A filter on a property that does not exist can never match.
- Block variants: the warnings Save shows, as the rows stand now.
- Sending domains: SPF, DMARC and HubSpot's DKIM on the domain of every sender the rows use. No SPF or no DMARC is marked Fix first: mail from that domain is more likely to land in spam, and Google and Yahoo require both for bulk senders. DMARC p=none and a missing DKIM are Check: fine to send, better protected with them.
- HubSpot workflow: whether a dispatch has reached this campaign in the last 30 days. None means the workflow's mxAURA action is not pointing at it yet, or no contact has enrolled; a test dispatch from Settings, Integrations proves the path.
- Simulated contact: find a real contact and the check runs their journey through the campaign, says whether the first steps would send, and which block version each gets.
Clear means switch it on from the campaign header. Fix first means do not.
The sending domains, every night
The same SPF, DMARC and DKIM read runs nightly for the domain of your default sender and of every sender a live campaign row uses. A domain that is missing a record shows on Home as a warning until the record is in place; the warning opens Senders, where the address lives. The fix is a DNS record at the domain's registrar, not anything in mxAURA.
