Billing
Account → Billing shows the plan, the next date and invoices. Changing the plan takes effect at once; downgrades keep your data. Contact support for enterprise agreements.
Subscriptions lists the plans, monthly or annual (annual shows the monthly equivalent and the yearly charge). A first plan starts with a free trial: the card is taken at checkout, nothing is charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel before then. Checkout opens inside mxAURA; it takes a promotion code and works out sales tax from your billing address (add a tax ID for a business purchase). To switch plans once subscribed, Upgrade or Downgrade opens the billing portal, which prorates the change.
If a payment fails or a subscription is cancelled, the account goes into a grace period rather than stopping. For the first 7 days a banner asks for payment and your flows keep running. On day 7 flows pause and the account becomes read-only apart from Billing and your profile. On day 14 the account is suspended and only Billing and your profile open. Paying restores everything at once. Owners and admins get a notice by email and in the app on days 0, 3 and 6, then daily. Every account pays for itself, a client account included. An agency's billing never affects its clients.
