Placing an article in hubs
On an article, Hubs shows where it is placed. Place it in more hubs with Publish to hubs (on the article, or on several ticked in Articles), or from the hub's Library. Only a Live article can be added; a Draft shows in the Library greyed out. Each placement has its own status, so an article can be live in one hub and scheduled in another.
Several at once
In the hub, Gallery > Articles, tick the articles and use the bar:
- Publish: now, or Schedule for a date and time (optionally taking them down later).
- Unpublish: off the gallery on every site that shows the hub. They stay in the library.
- Assign (widgets) and Remove (out of this hub; they stay in the library).
Publish works only when none of the ticked articles is live, and Unpublish only when all of them are live or scheduled; hover a greyed-out button to see why. Assign and Remove work on any selection. Every confirmation opens in the app.
The same is in the public API (POST /v1/hubs/{id}/entries/bulk) and the MCP connector (bulk_hub_placement), up to 200 articles per call.
Keeping an article's original date
An article brought in from another site keeps the date it was first published: set its display date when placing it (API and MCP: display_date). That is the date readers see and the order the gallery uses; it does not schedule anything. An import can also carry the record's own dates: created_at and published_at on article create and update (API and MCP) set what the Created column and the editor show, so an imported article does not read as written on the day of the import. Neither publishes anything, and a normal save never touches them.
